We wanted to celebrate what had now grown to include 130,000 students – and with a new name: IUBH, therefore, became IU International University of Applied Sciences. For you, of course, the new name does not change the usual strengths of IU! By the way: In German, as well as in all other languages, IU is uniformly pronounced [ei:ju].

2021: The university is renamed "IU International University of Applied Sciences"
2016: IUBH Distance Learning is the first university worldwide to introduce online exams.
2011: The university is renamed "Internationale Hochschule Bad Honnef - Bonn".
2000 until 2010
2010: IUBH becomes a member of the German Rectors' Conference.
2009: IUBH receives the longest possible accreditation of ten years without conditions from the German Academic Council. Innovation Minister Prof. Andreas Pinkwart extends congratulations on this award.
2000: Start of the first programmes of the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef - Bonn.

Helpful learning videos
