With Comfort Start, you have the option to start today – or on your preferred starting date – as an Auditor (Gasthörer:in). You can easily submit your documents in parallel to become an enrolled student.
Whether you have vocational training, prior experience, and/or no high school diploma: Here you can see what options are available to you for your degree, depending on your current situation.
If you have completed vocational training, you can cut your study time and costs by up to half.
Even if you've only taken individual courses, professional development programs, or similar, some of these credits may be applied toward your degree. This will save you time and money.
Don’t have the standard university entrance qualifications? That’s no problem. At IU, we also offer study possibilities to people without A-levels, provided they can demonstrate other relevant experience. With a master craftsman’s certificate or a completed apprenticeship plus at least three years’ professional experience, you can get started at IU straight away – without needing A-levels.
