Social media continue to determine the structure of our society to an increasing extent: Attention economics, network culture, swarm intelligence or fake news are some of the keywords that characterise the dynamics of social media. Furthermore, social media have become an integral part of internal and external corporate communication. In the online study programme, you will learn how to conceptualise and design content for social media, what makes a successful Community Manager and which strategies you can use in the field of HR.

What makes our study programme so unique? – In the area of “Creation” in particular, the Bachelor’s degree in Social Media is hands on! By participating in courses on storytelling, image and video editing or podcast production, you not only know what is important in the theory behind social media marketing, but also how it works in practice. In addition, you will have the opportunity to become an expert in the area that you want to master in your subsequent professional life: e.g. be it in Community Management, Native Advertising or Conflict Management and Opinion Forming in Social Media.

Depending on your personal or professional situation, full-time study is not always easy to manage. That is why we have also developed part-time programmes for all our degrees, which offer flexible and longer study periods. This way, you can study alongside your job or during your time off, whether at home or abroad. The content of the different models is identical. Depending on the study model, we will adjust your tuition fees accordingly. With the part-time variants, your weekly study workload is reduced.

Can't finish your degree in the allotted time? No problem! We will develop the right study model for everyone. If you realise that you need more time, you can easily switch to another study model with three months’ notice before the end of the month. These are our different study models:
