Your online studies master’s programmes in Cyber Security
The Cyber Security programme is available in German and English:
Your admission requirements for the German programme:
- Completed undergraduate studies in computer science, IT security, business informatics, theoretical computer science, applied computer science, technical computer science, media computer science or a comparable information science subject with at least 180 ECTS.
- In addition, your first degree must include at least 30 ECTS points in computer science. For applicants who do not meet this requirement, modules from the bachelor's programme are offered free of charge as bridging courses.
- Foreign students must provide proof of German language skills.
Your admission requirements for the English programme:
- Completed undergraduate studies in computer science, IT security, business informatics, theoretical computer science, applied computer science, technical computer science, media computer science or a comparable information science subject with at least 180 ECTS

Your electives in the master’s programme Cyber Security
Sniffing out the trail of computer criminals? Developing blockchain technologies? Or keeping big data safe? Your elective will determine your future career opportunities.
