Admission requirements for the 120 ECTS programme:
- Completed undergraduate degree
- Proof of at least one year of qualified work experience when starting the study programme (must be acquired after completing the undergraduate degree.)
- Proof of your English-language skills

Admission requirements for the 60 ECTS programme:
- Completed undergraduate degree amounting to at least 240 ECTS
- Proof of completion of the courses “Advanced Mathematics” and “Programming with Python” or comparable prior knowledge. You can take these courses at IU free of charge before starting your studies.
- Proof of at least one year of qualified professional experience when starting the study programme (Must be acquired after completing the undergraduate degree.)
- 240 ECTS from undergraduate degree: direct access possible with proof of at least one year of qualified professional experience when starting the study programme (Must be acquired after completing the undergraduate degree.)
- 210 ECTS from undergraduate degree: direct access possible when completing courses amounting to 30 ECTS to bridge the missing ECTS points or alternatively with proof of at least one year of qualified professional experience when starting the study programme.
- 180 ECTS from undergraduate degree: completion of courses amounting to 30 ECTS and proof of at least one year of qualified professional experience OR proof of at least two years of professional experience when starting the study programme.

Master’s in Artificial Intelligence: your electives
Your master’s in Artificial Intelligence is as practice-oriented as possible. In the 60 ECTS programme, you choose one of the electives Computer Vision and NLP, Advanced Robotics 4.0 or Applied Autonomous Driving. In the 120 ECTS programme, you get to choose two from 14 electives to prepare for your career. Your options include modules such as UI/UX Expert, AI Specialist or Innovate and Change.
