Online study programme in Engineering: course overview
Your online study programme in Engineering covers all the basics in mathematics, physics and IT. It teaches you important methods and current trends in engineering and supplies you with theoretical knowledge of areas such as digital systems, energy technology or IT. Projects such as “Systemsimulation” allow you to apply your practical skills. A wide range of electives allows you to follow your interests.
To give you guidance when choosing your modules, we have put together a number of possible specialisations. If you want to assemble your modules completely freely, you can do so as well.
Your professional future with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering
If you want to start your career in engineering right after graduating, you have a lot of exciting options. You can choose from a wide range of engineering jobs and might work as …
Develop new products, expand their function range and analyse performance – as a product development engineer, you’re always busy. What your tasks look like in detail depends on the sector you want to work in. You might go for electric vehicles, renewable energies or consulting.
As a simulation engineer, you develop simulation models such as digital twins. Your tasks might also include drawing up mechanical or electric systems in mechatronics or robotics. You pick the sector you want to build a career in. Sophisticated simulation systems are needed in many areas.
If you care about data protection, you become a cyber security engineer to improve network security. You examine systems, identify security loopholes and figure out how to close them. Your work contributes to the improvement of industrial IT infrastructure.
Study model and prices for the Bachelor's online study programme in Engineering
Depending on your personal or professional situation, full-time study is not always easy to manage. Recognition of Achievements
Have you already completed a training course, studied at a university or gained work experience? Then you have the opportunity to get your previous achievements recognised. By doing so, you save time and tuition fees – namely €30 per recognised ECTS point.
- Shortening your period of study: Skip individual modules or whole semesters!
- Save on tuition fees: You’ll save €30 for every recognised ECTS point
Even before you apply for an online study programme, we’ll gladly check whether we can take your previous achievements into account: 100% online, no strings attached. Simply fill in our online recognition form.
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to find out which previous achievements you can get recognised. Make sure you send your application before the end of your 1-month trial. You can get your previous achievements recognised during your studies. However, we can no longer grant you a cost reduction after the end of the trial month.
If you have your A-levels or a vocational diploma, you can start your bachelor’s programme right away without additional examination.
Graduates of Waldorf schools and the “Berufskolleg Baden-Württemberg” may have to have their diploma approved by their school and show proof of additional achievements to be able to study in another federal state. Please contact your school for an approval.
